KCERA has been notified by the Elections office of the following updates:

• Seat 2, General, has received only one candidate and will be appointed in lieu of election.
• Seat 3, General, has two candidates that will go to ballot for election.
• Seat 7, Safety, has received only one candidate and will be appointed in lieu of election.
• Seat 7, Safety Alternate, does not have any applicants, as such the ballot will be sent out with an option for a qualified write-in candidate. The period to become a qualified write-in candidate is open until the 30th of November.
